music through I-tunes and CD players among other oppurtunities. The possibilities are 6th grade books for showing our students the world beyond. Additionally, for many social studies teachers one of the best ways to challenge 6tth teach the past is through the use of primary sources. While books are wonderful, they are often expensive, and contain other sources we may not need - thus not justifying the cost of expensive books.
